About Our Foot & Ankle Doctors

Ross J. Girvan, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Girvan is Board Certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Girvan has been in private practice for more than 25 years. He performs over 250 foot and ankle surgeries per year.  As a former pole vaulter for the Canadian National Track & Field Team and University of Toronto, he has a special interest in sports medicine and pediatric foot & ankle disorders. He has been a member of the Medical Executive Committee of the Surgery Center of Central Virginia since 2001.

Dr. Girvan lives in Fredericksburg with his wife, Debby and Brittany, Bubby. They have three grown children: Alex, Emeleigh and McKenzie.

Stacie L. Buck, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Stacie Buck is Board Certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. Her training and experience includes a wide range of podiatric areas with special interests in sports medicine, diabetic limb salvage, and research.

Dr. Buck is the former Division Chair for the Department of Podiatry at Mary Washington Hospital, a member of the Rappahannock Rotary Club, a foster parent for the Fredericksburg SPCA and a former member of the Board of Directors and a current 5K Committee Member of the Moss Free Clinic.

 

She is an avid distance runner and triathlete. She first became interested in podiatry after years of studying dance, including ballet, tap, and jazz. She is excited to be living and practicing in Fredericksburg.

Elizabeth A. Bourret, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Bourret is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Bourret earned her Degree in Podiatric Medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and her undergraduate degree at University of Mary Washington. She completed her residency training at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

Dr. Bourret is a a member of the Fredericksburg Area Service League. She is a native of Massachusetts, however as an alumna of UMW, she's excited to be back in Fredericksburg. When she isn't busy at work, Dr. Bourret enjoys sailing, being outside and spending time with her husband, Alex and infant daughter, Caroline.

Melissa Gulosh, DPM

Dr. Gulosh is a native of Edgewater, Maryland. She has been trained in all aspects of forefoot, midfoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery. Dr. Gulosh has undergone Fellowship training in reconstructive surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, plastic surgery, external fixation, and limb deformity correction. Her practice encompasses all aspects of foot and ankle care for pediatrics and adults ranging from simple to complex deformity management, medical and surgical intervention of traumatic injuries, microsurgical procedures, as well as preventive and interventional management of diabetic foot and ankle complications.
